Editorial principles
Context changes the card.
A line can be memorable and still be misattributed, flattened or stripped of the history that gives it meaning. The archive keeps the small format while restoring what the small format usually loses.
Attribution with honesty
Traditional sayings are named as traditions. Uncertain quotations are described cautiously. Source trails remain visible to readers.
Open by default
Every published card has a permanent public page. No account is required to read, search, save locally or follow a topic.
Translation as interpretation
English and Turkish versions are presented together where available, preserving tone and meaning rather than only word order.
Visual direction
Images as interpretation, not evidence.
Images on Ikigai Daily function as editorial interpretations. Unless a page explicitly says otherwise, they are not presented as archival photographs or faithful reproductions. Historical and factual claims live in the card text and its source trail.
