The puzzle feels ancient, but it fits modern life: repaired bodies, updated apps, restored buildings, changing identities and long relationships. Is identity in the material, the pattern, the history or the name? It matters globally because everything living is partly replacement. The lesson: continuity is not as simple as sameness.
