The idea in context
Earth’s atmosphere scatters shorter wavelengths and changes how sunlight looks from the ground, especially near sunrise or sunset. In space, without that filtering, the Sun’s visible light is closer to white. This matters because perception depends on where you stand. The lesson: even the most familiar object changes with context.
