Why it matters

The idea in context

Gratitude practice is not pretending life is easy. It is training attention to notice concrete support, relief, beauty or kindness that the stressed mind may skip. A few specific lines can be more useful than a vague positive mood. The global lesson is portable: what you repeatedly notice becomes part of the emotional weather you live in.
